Job Description:
Successful applicant
will be able to efficiently identify and resolve
problems in the z/OS
mainframe environment. Candidate must have expert
skills in any TWO of
the following: z/OS, CICS, IMS, DB2, MQ Series,
Linux, Unix, Tandem,
Wintel, or Computer Operations. Excellent written
and verbal
communications skills required. Candidate must be able to
effectively communicate
problem status with senior management. Candidate
must be shift flexible
and available to cover weekends as needed.
Canidate must be
flexible for travel. Minimum Requirements: Ability to
research critical
systems failures and coordinate problem resolution
from start to finish;
coordinate daily planned and emergency change
process.Desired Skills:
Assist other SMS associates in problem
resolution, represent
SMS at problem/process meetings and facilitate
special projects;
ability to represent SMS in special project planning
