Seeking an intelligent, motivated, and resourceful benefits specialist
to join its Human Resources group.
This individual will be responsible for administering existing benefits
policies, developing and maintaining
relationships with third party administrators and vendors, developing
recommendations concerning new
benefits policies, drafting proposals to senior management, and
developing systems to implement new policies.
An understanding of the changing legal and regulatory environment is
essential.
The position will require extensive research into the areas of health
and welfare benefits, cafeteria plan benefits, retirement plans, disability
plans, and other insurance-related areas as needed.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, customer service,
organizational, and analytical skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in a related field, at
least four years of relevant experience, and be familiar with the quantitative
aspects of benefits administration.
