Analyst (New York or Silicon Valley)
The Client

leadership, seeks two exceptionally gifted individuals for the role of Senior
Quantitative Analyst
in its
Equities and Fixed Income groups.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of developing
successful quantitative models,
including forecasting, risk, and transaction cost models,
an academic background in computer science,
mathematics, physics, statistics, or another quantitative
field, and strong programming skills.
The ideal candidate will have a
demonstrated history of developing successful quantitative
mortgage
and/or interest rate models, an academic background in
computer science, mathematics, physics,
statistics, or another quantitative field, and strong
programming skills.

Quantitative
Analyst (Can be based in New York or Silicon Valley)
Quants will apply sophisticated numerical techniques and
write software to analyze and develop statistical models
for our computerized financial trading strategies.
Their work involves examining trading data to determine ways
of increasing profitability, decreasing risk,
and lowering transaction costs.
In addition, quants research financial literature to
identify new trading ideas and create simulations to test them.
Quants with the company have traditionally been the top
students in their respective math, physics, engineering,
and computer science programs.
A considerable number of them have also competed successfully
in the United States and
International Math Olympiads as well as the Putnam
Competition.
Candidates should have a 3.5+ GPA and 700+ on their
quantitative scores.
